About this Manual#

The functions you can use in Allegra are determined by your roles. There are two system roles and a flag for workspace roles, which grant you very extensive rights:

  1. System administrator

  2. System manager

  3. Workspace manager (workspace role flag)

A newly installed system has the user “admin”, who is assigned a system administrator role and thus practically has access to the complete functionality of the system.

In this manual, all important functions are marked with tags indicating which system role is required for their use.

sysadmin: means that you must have the role “System Administrator” assigned to use this functionality.

sysman: means that you must have the role “System Manager” assigned to use this functionality.

wsman: means that you must have a role assigned for at least one workspace, where the workspace administration flag is set.
