About this manual

This manual describes how to work with Allegra — from your first sign-in to configuring your own processes. Which functions are available to you depends on your roles. Three of them grant particularly far-reaching permissions:

1. System administrator — full installation and configuration

2. System manager — configuration only

3. Workspace manager — configuration of the associated workspace

A freshly installed system ships with the admin user. This user has the system administrator role and therefore access to the full range of functionality.

For all important functions, this manual uses tags to indicate which system role is required:

sysadmin

You need the “System administrator” role.

sysman

You need the “System manager” role.

wsman

You need, for at least one workspace, a role that has the workspace administration flag set.
