Creating report templates#

Allegra offers three ways to deliver meaningful reports based on the data available in the system:

  1. A data source interface (JSON API) for Microsoft PowerBI

  2. A built-in report engine based on JasperReports

  3. Excel-based report templates

All reports are based on report templates and data sources. You can design your own JasperReports report templates, MS Power BI templates and Excel report templates and integrate them into the system.

Evaluations in reports can be more complex than the sets of items that you can define with item filters. For example, in reports you can also filter and evaluate values in the change history.
