With the Google provider, users sign in to Allegra with their Google accounts. The login page shows the button Continue with Google.

In the Google Cloud Console, create an OAuth client ID of type Web application and register the callback URL shown in the provider form as an authorized redirect URI (see Callback URL).

In Allegra, go to Administration > Users & Groups > Authentication > OpenID providers and add the provider Google. The configuration form is described in OpenID Providers; for Google, note:

• Issuer URL — prefilled with https://accounts.google.com.

• Client ID and Client secret — from the OAuth client you created in the Google Cloud Console.

Note

Google offers no logout endpoint. Signing out of Allegra ends the Allegra session only — the user stays signed in at Google.
