Notifications#

Allegra can automatically inform you and other users about activities and system events. There are four classes of notifications in total:

  • notifications based on item activities

  • notifications based on due or overdue items (reminders)

  • notifications triggered by a workflow activity

  • notifications triggered by system events, such as the registration of a new user

The following notification channels are available to you:

  • your e-mail account

  • your personal message history in Allegra

  • external chat applications such as Slack or MS Teams

This section explains the principles and the way notifications based on item activities work, such as the creation of items or the addition of comments.

A complete notification configuration consists of three steps:

  1. define a notification trigger

  2. define a notification filter

  3. add notification rules to workspaces
