Finding items#
Over time, an Allegra database accumulates many thousands of items. Through filters, you determine which of them appear in the current view of the item browser.
You apply filters:
via the filter history
via the navigation pane on the left
via links from the cockpit
via AQL expressions in the full-text search at the top right
via the filter button in the context menu bar
You manage filters:
via the context menu in the navigation pane on the left
via the item browser button in the main menu
via the filter button in the context menu bar
via the administrator app, provided you have access
When you apply a filter, the items appear in the current view. You can link a filter to a view — Allegra then adopts the associated view as the current one.
If the current user has linked a view of their own to a filter, it takes precedence over assignments made by other users.
