Wiki inline templates#

You can embed other items as well as metadata of the document into the text of documents in the wiki. Wiki inline templates let you define how these elements are displayed.

To add or edit wiki templates, go to Administration > Templates > Wiki inline templates.

There are two types of templates:

Inline item
Inline attribute

You can assign a separate template to each node in the configuration inheritance hierarchy (see Configuration basics).

Each template can be created in multiple languages.

The templates use Freemarker as their language. You can find the context variables you can use under Freemarker context variables for item templates.

Using the preview, after selecting a sample item you can immediately see how it would be rendered by the template.
