Working with filters

Filters determine which items from the overall set are considered for display or further processing. Filters appear in several places in Allegra:

• In the item browser

• In the data sources of cockpit widgets

• In the data sources for reports

• In item searches when selecting an item

Filters in Allegra

• are unlimited in number

• are managed in repositories

• can be shared with others

• are parameterizable

There are predefined, fixed filters such as “All items in workspace X” or “My items”. There are also filters that include a full-text search in PDF documents attached to items.
