Creating Reports#

Allegra offers three ways to provide meaningful reports based on the data available in the system:

  1. A data source interface (JSON-API) for Microsoft PowerBI

  2. A built-in report engine based on JasperReports

  3. Excel-based report templates

You can create reports in various formats such as PDF, Excel or MS Word based on report templates and data sources. You can design JapserReports report templates and Excel report templates yourself and integrate them into the system.

Evaluations in reports can be more complex than those defined by the item filters. For example, you can also filter and evaluate values in the change history in reports.

Both the JasperReports reporting engine and the MS Power BI engine are based on data sources and report templates, which determine the presentation of the information provided by the data sources.
