Managing Custom Lists#

You can add custom lists, which you can then assign to the custom properties of a corresponding item type.

You must be logged in as a system manager or system administrator.

Here you manage the globally available severities. In the configuration of the workspace types (see :ref:` projectTypes`), you determine which severities are actually available in a workspace.

  • If you want to create, copy, edit, or delete a global list, go to Administration > Customize > Lists > Global Lists.

  • If, on the other hand, you want to create, copy, edit, or delete a workspace- or project-specific selection list, go to Administration > Customize > Lists > Workspace-specific Lists

  • You can now change, copy, add, or delete a selection list.

  • You can assign an icon (16 x 16 px, GIF, SVG or PNG format) to each list and each list entry.

  • You can assign a CSS style to each list entry, which is used to format items in the item overview.

  • You can set a list entry as the preselected value.

  • You can determine the order in which the list entries are offered in the user interface by dragging the entries to the desired position.

  • If you delete a custom list, it is only made inaccessible. All items that had a reference to this custom list still have all available information.
