Working with backlogs

Backlogs serve as containers for user stories and epics, the Scrum equivalent of requirements. You can manage product backlogs and release backlogs.

The backlog item overview works exactly like the standard item overview. For more information, see The item browser.

The flat view lets you group and sort items by almost any item attribute. In addition, the flat view exhibits the general behavior described for the table-based view types in the item overview.

The hierarchical view lets you define the order of items at every structure level. This view does not support grouping and does not display long-text fields. In addition, the hierarchical view exhibits the general behavior described for the table-based views of the item overview.
