Export to an XML file

You can export all information for the items displayed in the item overview into a custom XML file.

The XML format is useful when designing your own report templates. Allegra uses the same format internally, so you can conveniently design your report templates locally on your client computer with the JasperSoft Studio Design software and test your reports with real data. Once everything works, you can upload your new template to the server.

• Click on the “Action” button and select Export > XML from the menu.

• Download the XML file to your local computer. You can use this file to create report templates with JasperSoft Studio.
