Item-related notifications#
Allegra can send you messages whenever an item that you have a relationship with is created or changed. This relationship can be one of the following:
You created the item, i.e. you are the author
You are the current responsible for the item
You are the current manager of the item
You are a watcher of the item (editor or reader)
The events that trigger a notification are:
an item is created
one or more item attributes are changed

A triggered notification is not sent immediately; it must first pass through a notification filter. This filter examines the attributes of the associated item before and after the change and lets matching notifications through. These are then sent to the user.
A notification rule therefore consists of a notification trigger and a notification filter. You can create as many triggers, filters and notification rules as you like.
