Creating an item

You create an item using the button in the main menu — or, depending on the app, from the context menu in many other places. When creating it, you specify the workspace and item type; Allegra derives both from the context, otherwise it asks for them.

An item can be created as a child item (subitem) or by copying an existing item. By selecting several items in the item overview and using the Copy selection context menu, you can also create selected sets of items.
