Version Control Systems

You can link Allegra with version control systems such as Subversion, Git, Gitlab, or CVS.

Allegra automatically creates links between items and associated files and commits in version control systems. The link is either created by regular querying of repository log files (SVN, CVS) or by events in the version control system (Git, Gitlab).

In the case of querying, an initial scan takes place every 10 minutes. The scan time is measured, and the delay between scans is set to twice the scan time. For example, if the scan time for all repositories is 20 minutes, the repositories are scanned once an hour.

The values for the initial scan time and delay factor can be set in the file ALLEGRA_HOME/quartz-jobs.xml.
